Our Credentials

Affiliations

We have forged many strong relationships over the past 21 years that build on our expertise and allow us to better serve our clients and drivers. These relationships enable us to fulfil our mission by:

  • providing our clients and drivers with reassurance that regulations and working practices are adhered to
  • providing us with legal, compliance and sector expertise and advice
  • reinforcing our commitment to training and development
  • giving access to our industry sector to understand market trends and developments so we can anticipate the needs of our clients and drivers
  • working with organisations that share our aims and values
  • creating a network of leadership in service and compliance
  • lobbying the government and regulatory bodies on issues relevant to our sector and our clients

Here are a few of the organisations with whom we are partnered.

  • RHA: Associate Member
The Road Haulage Association provides dedicated campaigning, advice, information and business services specially tailored for the haulage industry. Associate Members have long played an important role within the RHA, providing the tools, products, services and the expertise that keeps the UK’s haulage business’s wheels turning. Through our Associate membership we support and benefit from the RHA’s lobbying and campaigns for the interests of the UK haulage sector, while having access to their expertise and networking events.
  • REC Corporate Member
The REC is a reliable source of information, analysis and insight about the world of work and it offers support to ensure the growth and development of recruitment businesses. REC Corporate membership offers access to a team of recruitment law specialists, as well as a comprehensive library of contracts, policies and legal guides to give us complete compliance on all aspects of employment law. We benefit considerably from the REC Legal Services and advice, as well as their lobbying and campaigns for the interests of the recruitment sector, to which we actively contribute through our participation in the REC Driving Sector Executive Steering Committee.
  • Logistics UK
Logistics UK is one of the biggest business groups in the UK, supporting, shaping and standing up for, efficient logistics. As a Non-Vehicle Operator Member of Logistics UK, we support and benefit from the Logistics UK’s lobbying and campaigns on issues affecting road haulage, as well as getting early and subsidised access to their valuable research and publications. We also attend their Transport Manager Conferences, which provide us with the latest information and guidance on industry legislation, not mention an excellent networking opportunity.
  • FCSA
The FCSA is the UK's leading membership body dedicated to raising standards and promoting supply chain compliance for the temporary labour market. Its accreditation sets the “gold standard” for tax and payroll compliance by umbrella employers, contractor accountants (PSC) and CIS payroll providers. Many blue-chip companies who depend on agency workers for their supply chain operations are seeking assurance that their agency worker providers are fully tax and payroll compliant, they are therefore demanding that their agencies are compliant and partner only with FCSA accredited Umbrella providers. We adhere to the FCSA’s rigorous standards and accordingly we have signed up to the FCSA Recruiter Partner Charter, one clause of which confirms that we will only partner with FCSA accredited Umbrella companies.
  • Tachomaster
Driver Require uses the Tachomaster System and web-service to analyse our drivers’ tachograph records and infringements to ensure first class compliance. It provides us with real-time analysis of digital tachographs records against both the European Tachograph and Drivers’ Hours Rules and Working Time Directive regulations, which enables us to proactively coach and develop our drivers to improve their working practices and compliance.
  • Driver CPC
We are a JAUPT-approved Driver CPC training provider with two in-house DCPC trainers and a selection of CPC courses on offer to our LGV drivers, customers and our team-members. This internal resource ensures that we maintain our standards as experts in our field, as well as providing expert coaching to our drivers and advice to our customers.
  • Armed Forces Covenant
We are very proud to announce that we have signed the Armed Forces Covenant. This covenant sets out the relationship between the nation, the government and our Armed Forces. It recognises that the whole nation has a moral obligation to members of the Armed Forces and their families, and it establishes how they should expect to be treated. The covenant exists to redress the disadvantages that the armed forces community may face in comparison to other citizens, and to recognise sacrifices made. This is something we at Driver Require passionately believe in and support.
  • Parliamentary Review
The main aim of the Parliamentary Review is to showcase best practice as a learning tool to the public and private sector. It looks back on the year in industry and Westminster and is sent to leading policymakers. It is essential that politicians have a firm understanding of the challenges with which British organisations must contend and The Review provides the platform for their insights to be aired. Driver Require’s first report was published in 2020 in the Transport section of The Review. Exceptionally, Driver Require was invited to make a further submission in the 2021 issue, and was also featured in the Parliamentary Reviews news “Turbulent times for UK haulage sector but it will adapt to post-Covid-19 world”
  • The Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Chaired by former Home Secretary and Education Secretary, Lord Blunkett, The Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland brings together the most influential figures from across the country. It celebrates the hard work and achievements of the nation’s unsung leaders, while laying the ground for the next generation. Our Credentials

Testimonials

Many of our clients praise us for our great service, expert knowledge, responsiveness and professionalism. But we think it’s better if we let our clients do the talking, after all, they probably judge us just as you would, on the things that really matter. Here are what just a few of them had to say:

Our drivers also have some kind words for us: you can also check out our latest reviews on Google.

  • "I was looking for a company that could take care of our driver requirements and alleviate the strains that this puts on the business throughout the peak season. Driver Require is able to meet our requirements both at short notice and when planned. They are the first company I have used that actually took time to understand our requirements rather than just putting drivers on seats. This has resulted in a much better working dynamic and I would struggle to go elsewhere."
    Kaboodle (Stevenage branch)
  • “I would like to say a huge thankyou to Hugo, Matt, Paul and all of the team at Driver Require. All of the interactions we have had with anyone from Driver Require have always been highly professional and very pleasant. The Driver Require team have remained enthusiastic at all times and having personally seen their drivers in action, I can certainly say that they have done everything we could have asked of them and helped contribute to us achieving our project targets.”
Darren Carter (Stevenage branch), General Manager UK
    UTAC Ceram
  • I just wanted to say a huge thank you to both of you and your teams for your support this year with our peak staff. The majority of our peak staff have been supplied by yourselves and the quality of the people coming in is outstanding. Virtually all the drivers are at a high standard and achieving more stops each day than I was expecting, or even asked for. Vetting for all staff is flawless and your attention to detail really shows. I can confidently say we would not have got through this period without your help and I will 100% be using Driver Require in the new year as my first stop for temporary, temp/perm workers. Thank you all so much…

  • We have been using Driver require for nearly 3 years now and we find them to be one of the best Driving recruitment agencies around. Gemma and Vicky are very professional at all times. They supply us with a large amount of drivers on a daily permanent basis. Excellent work guys . We look forward to continuing to work with you in the future.

    GBA Services Ltd (Andover branch)
  • We were first introduced to Driver Require in September 2016. The made all the usual promises you hear from agencies and asked us to give them a list of vacancies we had and said they would cover them. They came back the same afternoon with full details to cover all the work and have been doing so ever since. We regularly use them for between 35-50 jobs a week. They provide reliable, professional drivers both for ad-hoc work and longer term vacancies. They are always our first call with any holidays, sickness and last minute cover and they always go the extra mile to deliver, keeping us fully informed along the way. They really do have the driver you require.
