HGV Class 1 Container Driver - On Going

Driver Require Dartford are recruiting for reliable and professional HGV LGV Class 1 Container Drivers for a new client based in Chelmsford, Essex.  

 HGV LGV Class 1 Container Driver Rate (inc. holiday pay):

 (PAYE)            Days           Night

OR                   £17.82        £20.51

 (UMBRELLA)  £19.78        £22.76

HGV LGV Class 1 Container Driver Job Details -

- Transporting containers to various locations

- Day shift start windows between 04:00 - 08:00

- Night shift start windows between 13:00 - 16:00

- Ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods

- Adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies

- Conducting pre and post-trip vehicle inspections

- Completing necessary paperwork and logs

- No handball loading or unloading

Ideal HGV LGV Class 1 Container Driver -

- Proven experience driving Class 1 vehicles during the last year

- Container experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided by our client

- Valid HGV LGV Class 1 licence with a maximum of 3 penalty points

- Rhides card , for Felixstowe Port, this can be applied for if not already held

- Strong understanding of road safety regulations

- Excellent time management and organisational skills

We cannot accept your application if you have any of the following endorsement on your Drivers Licences CU80, DD, DR, IN10, TT99

All candidates must provide a CV and a comprehensive 5 years working history without gaps that can’t be explained and proven. References will need to be provided from previous employers.
