HGV Class 1 Driver – Dunstable

Driver Require is recruiting for reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing work with one of our respected high street clients based in Dunstable. This is a Sunday to Thursday position with start times between 14:00 and 00:00.

Role details:

• Shift start times: 14:00 – 00:00

• Working days: Sunday to Thursday

• Average shift length: 10–12 hours

• Each shift you are assigned with a driver’s mate for support

Pay rates (including holiday pay):

Monday to Friday:

• Day shifts: £23.04 p/h PAYE | £25.58 p/h Umbrella

• Night shifts: £24.90 p/h PAYE | £27.64 p/h Umbrella

Overtime after 10 hours: 

• £26.76 p/h PAYE | £29.71 p/h Umbrella

Sundays: 

• £28.02 p/h PAYE | £31.10 p/h Umbrella

Candidate requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with no more than 6 points on license (no major endorsements)

• Minimum 1 year experience driving HGV Class 1 

• Flexible availability to meet shift requirements

• Solid knowledge of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations

• Must pass an assessment following with an induction (paid if you do pass)
