HGV Class 1 Driver – Dunstable

Driver Require are recruiting reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing full time work with one of our prestigious clients based in Dunstable. You will be working as part of a two person team and required to make deliveries from the DC to various store locations.

Role details:

• Shift start times: 14:00 – 00:00

• Working days: Sunday to Thursday

• Average shift length: 10–12 hours

• PAID BREAKS

• Overtime after 10 hours

• Each shift you are assigned with a driver’s mate, to deliver cages and totes into stores usually overnight and early mornings.

Pay rates (including holiday pay):

Monday to Friday:

• Day shifts: £23.04 p/h PAYE | £25.58 p/h Umbrella

• Night shifts: £24.90 p/h PAYE | £27.64 p/h Umbrella

Overtime after 10 hours: 

• £26.76 p/h PAYE | £29.71 p/h Umbrella

Sundays: 

• £28.02 p/h PAYE | £31.10 p/h Umbrella

PAID BREAKS

Candidate requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with no more than 6 points on license (no major endorsements)

• Minimum 1 year experience driving HGV Class 1 

• Flexible availability to meet shift requirements

• Good knowledge of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations

• Must pass an assessment following with an induction (paid if you do pass)
