HGV Class 1 Driver

Driver Require are looking for professional and dependable HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team for ongoing, full-time work with one of our prestigious clients.

You’ll be working as part of a two-person crew, delivering cages and totes to store locations overnight and early mornings. 

Class 1 rate of pay (PAYE)

• Days rate £20.56 per hour 
• Night rate: £22.22 per hour
• Sundays & bank holidays: £25.00 per hour

Class 1 Job Description

• A 45 hour rota or 4 on 3 off 
• Ongoing work throughout the year 
• Start times vary between 18:00pm - 3:00am
• All work consists of collections, deliveries, and trunking back hauls
• Timely and efficient completion of deliveries and transportation
• Drivers mate provided for certain routes

Class 1 Candidate requirements:

• Valid Driving License C+E (Class 1)
• Must be comfortable with night shifts
• Valid Tacho and CPC cards
• Minimum 2 years experience driving LGV1 
• Ability to pass an assessment and induction (fully paid once passed)
• Must be over the age of 25
