HGV Class 1 Driver – Stevenage NIGHTS

Driver Require are recruiting reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing full time work with one of our prestigious clients based in Stevenage completing deliveries from the DC to various store/depo locations. The role is NIGHT driving, trunking from depo to depo and working on a 5 on 3 off rota

HGV Class 1 Driver pay rates

• Monday-Friday NIGHTS: £22.18 ph
• Saturdays: £23.36 ph
• Sundays: £24.53 ph

UMBRELLA (NIGHTS £24.62ph, SAT £25.92ph, SUN £27.23ph)

HGV Class 1 Driver role details:

• Night driving 
• Delivery of white goods - some palletised but majority is white goods
• Tail lift deliveries
• Start times of 16.00 - 20.00 
• Assessment / Induction Required. - if passed a rota pattern of 5 on 3 off for continuous ongoing work, we can also look at other requests

Candidate requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with no more than 6 points on license
   (no major endorsements)

• Minimum 1 year experience driving HGV Class 1

• Flexible availability to meet shift requirements

• Good knowledge of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations

• Must pass an assessment following with an induction
