HGV Class 1 Driver – London Gateway 

Driver Require are recruiting reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing full time work with one of our prestigious clients based in London Gateway completing deliveries from the DC to various store locations as well as TRUNKING OVER NIGHT Delivering White goods 

HGV Class 1 Driver role details:

• 7 Day operation 
• Delivery of white goods - some palletised but majority is white goods
• Tail lift deliveries  
• PM Work Trunking to Newark, Bristol and LGW or AM store work, some CSC deliveries as well (curtain trailers)
• Mixture of start times - days 5am - 9am and nights 17.00 - 23.30 
• Assessment / Induction Required. - if  passed  a rota pattern of 5 on 3 off for continuous ongoing work, we can also look at other requests
• 2 years experience required , 
• No more than 6 points 
• No Major Endorsements 

HGV Class 1 Driver pay rates

Monday to Friday:

• Day shifts: £18.74 p/h PAYE 

• Night shifts: £19.79 p/h PAYE

Saturdays

£20.84 p/h PAYE

Sundays / Bank Holidays: 

• £21.89 p/h PAYE 

Candidate requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with no more than 6 points on license
   (no major endorsements)

• Minimum 1 year experience driving HGV Class 1

• Flexible availability to meet shift requirements

• Good knowledge of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations

• Must pass an assessment following with an induction
