HGV Trade Plate Driver

Driver Require are recruiting HGV Trade Plate drivers to join our client based in Coalville, Leicestershire. 

This position is for a vehicle movement company, you will be collecting and delivering HGV’s around the UK using trade plates.

You will need to have an android mobile phone to download / install the app (app not compatible with iPhone).

Full PDA training is provided.

6 MONTHS COMMERCIAL DRIVING EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM A FULL VEHICLE CHECK.

VEHICLES ARE NEVER TO BE TAKEN HOME. Your shift will begin and end in their yard in Coalville, Leicestershire.

Pay Rates & Hours:

• LTD Company = £15.00  per hour (PAYE Rates = £12 per hour)
• 04:00 – 09:00 Starts (shifts average between 12 - 15 hours / day)

HGV Trade Plate driver Job role:

• Collecting and delivering HGV’s (class 2 or class 1 units without trailer), driven on trade plates 
• Drivers are to be Professional and Polite at all times
• Vehicles to be driven professionally and courteous at all times
• Vehicle inspection on collection and delivery using bespoke software
• Drivers are expected to generally make their own way between delivery and next collection points using public transport. However there are several minibus's in operation to assist drivers as per operational demand as well as the use of hire vehicles
• All money spent on public transport will be reimbursed weekly as a ‘travel expense’, you will not be taxed on any expenses

HGV Trade plate Driver Specification:

• You must be smartly dressed (No tracksuits, branded clothing, trainers, offensive logo's)
• Minimum 6 months experience driving within the UK
• No more than 9 points on licence for minor offences 
• NO DD/ DR/ IN10/ TT99
