Celebrating Excellence: Ocado Driver of the Year 2025

For the eighth consecutive year, Driver Require proudly sponsored the prestigious Ocado Driver of the Year event, this year held at Mallory Park race circuit. This celebration of driving excellence brings together Ocado's top-performing drivers for a day of recognition, camaraderie, and thrilling driving experiences.

This year's event, held on April 2nd, was blessed with exceptional weather, a welcome change from previous years! The sunshine provided the perfect backdrop for all the day's activities and allowed participants to fully enjoy the outdoor setting of the iconic Mallory Park circuit.

Events like these are vital in acknowledging the dedication and skill that professional drivers bring to their roles every day. Ocado's commitment to celebrating their drivers sets an industry standard for employee recognition, and we're proud to support this initiative year after year.

A special congratulations goes to our nominated driver Gabriel, who represented Driver Require with distinction throughout the day. Gabriel's consistent performance and professionalism earned him this well-deserved recognition, and it was wonderful to see him enjoying all the experiences on offer.

The centerpiece of the day was undoubtedly the opportunity for drivers to take the wheel of some exceptional vehicles around the professional racing circuit. The change from delivery vans to high-performance cars brought smiles to everyone's faces, with friendly competition emerging as drivers tested their skills on the track.

Our remote-controlled truck challenge proved to be another popular attraction. Drivers gathered to test their precision handling skills in miniature form, demonstrating that their talents extend beyond full-sized vehicles! A huge well done to Ben Rigby, who claimed bragging rights, and a £200 Amazon voucher, by recording the fastest time completing the manoeuvre challenge with our lorry. It was a seriously impressive effort!
