Over the past 8 weeks The British Red Cross has supported 1.5 million people with life-saving aid for Ukraine and other European countries, this includes distributing 400 tonnes of vital aid, including food, blankets, hygiene parcels and warm clothes..
They are continuing to provide crucial lifesaving support to those in need. Since the conflict began the teams have helped more than 1.5 million people, supplying not just the vital aid essentials but also first aid training to over 42,000 people (so they have the skills to treat their loved ones if needed), they've also been providing psychosocial support, and helping people regain contact with their loved ones if they've been separated. Red Cross teams in bordering countries are offering medical care and providing food, aid and shelter to people arriving from Ukraine.
We are proud to do our bit and support the British Red Cross. At Driver Require we are allocated an annual allowance for charity donations and this year, the team has decided to make a collective charitable donation to the organization to help support the Ukraine Crisis Appeal. As the crisis in Ukraine continues to unfold, the British Red Cross is appealing for continued support - if you would like to donate, please donate to the British Red Cross here.
