Driver Require team to conquer The Yorkshire 3 Peaks
We’ve decided to challenge ourselves again this year by taking on another 3 peaks for charity!
Following on from our immense and successful National 3 Peaks Challenge last year, when we conquered Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 23.5 hours, we’ve decided to challenge ourselves again this year by taking on another 3 peaks for charity.
On 14 September, nine members of the Driver Require team will be tackling The Yorkshire 3 Peaks in aid of Cancer Research. We aim to hike 25 miles in under 12 hours, taking on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, an ascent totalling over 4,900 feet.
We’ve been training for a couple of months and are now confident that we are fit enough to take on the challenge, with every chance that we will make it as a complete team.
DOING GOOD THINGS:
We are all doing this for Cancer Research UK, with a collective team target of £2,250. Please feel free to support us and Cancer Research UK, every penny donated will help save lives through research to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Please go to our JustGiving Team page where you will find more information:
https://www.justgiving.com/companyteams/DRyorkshire3peaks
We will keep you posted through our JustGiving Team Page as we progress over the next 3 weeks and how we do on the challenge itself on 14 September.
Many thanks in advance,
The Driver Require Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge Team members:
Kieran Smith, Nathan Humphreys, Ieva Janke, Paul Ferry, Hugo Dawson, Becky O’Shea, Ian Datlen & Sarah Fowke
