Why Driver Require’s Ocado Account Management Team are our heroes…

Driver Require’s Ocado account management team, in close partnership with Ocado’s own operations and planning teams, has been instrumental in keeping the nation supplied with groceries during the pandemic. Since the beginning of lockdown, the team has worked tirelessly, 24/7, without a single supply failure, to provide Ocado with first-class drivers on-demand. 

Despite the challenges and the restrictions of lockdown, the most difficult being unable to physically attend site, the team has successfully ensured that new drivers were interviewed, vetted and recruited remotely, to the highest standards expected of Ocado. The shift planning team managed the pressures of fluctuating shift patterns and variable locations with skill and precision to ensure that not a single delivery was missed.

The team were able to achieve all of this through a close collaborative partnership with Ocado operations across their network and especially with their LGV Planning Team. Together, they overcame some formidable challenges and unusual trading conditions to ensure that Ocado’s customers received their groceries without fail.

Now, since the easing of lockdown and the massive increase in demand for drivers as businesses become operational again, the team continues to work to consistently and reliably supply the best LGV1 drivers to Ocado. 

The team’s unwavering commitment throughout the Covid-19 crisis has ensured that not only have service levels remained dependably high but that they continue to deliver on Driver Require’s values of excellence and integrity – taking the right road over the easy road every time and always going beyond the extra mile.
