DRIVER GUIDELINES

If you have travelled to the UK from any of the countries listed in the link below in the last 14 days and even if you do not have symptoms you should stay indoors and call NHS 111.

PREVENTION

• You must comply with any customer policies or requests in relation to COVID-19. If this causes any issues please in inform your Driver Require contact and ask them to coordinate on your behalf with the customer.
• You must not come to the Company premises if you have been to any of the areas listed or have been in contact with a person who is confirmed to have the virus within the last 14 days.
• If you have travelled from any of the areas listed above you must call the NHS 111 phone service before returning to work.
• If you are returning from, or planning to travel to, the areas listed above, you must contact your Driver Require contact to discuss how this may restrict their ability to offer you work.
• Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.
• Increase the regularity of cleaning the inside of your cab and in particular any areas that you regularly touch, such as the steering wheel, controls and handles etc.
• Catch coughs and sneezes in a tissue, throw the tissue in the bin and then wash your hands
• Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing and sneezing.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth to prevent the virus entering your body.
• If you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, seek medical care immediately.
• You should cancel all but essential international travel until further notice.

SELF ISOLATION – (if required or advised)

Depending on where you have travelled from, you may be asked to self-isolate. If you are asked to self-isolate it’s important that you follow the self-isolation guidance carefully. This can be found at NHS UK and GOV UK
