Driver Require’s CEO, Kieran Smith, was interviewed by The Financial Times and featured in an article “Labour crunch singles longer term shift towards employees market”
The article centres on how employers are coming under pressure to raise wages and improve job security, flexibility and career structure after a thaw in UK labour market leaves employers scrambling to recruit staff.
Kieran was quoted in the Financial Times, say “We're not at the point where the dust has settled yet said Kieran Smith, chief executive of recruitment agency Driver Require. In the past, customers had forced down margins in the haulage industry to "almost unsustainable levels", but now if they wish to have a delivery and driver the agency can dictate the rate".
