The boys walked it! In fact, they walked 10k in aid of Prostate Cancer UK at the March for Men on Saturday 15 June around Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Jason Williams, Paul Hartles Kerry Gevaux and Alex Raven from our Stevenage, Dartford and Braintree offices, all finished with good times and got to meet some fellow walkers – Bill Turnbull! – on the way.
In the UK, about 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer at some point in their lives. Men aged 50 or over, men with a family history of it and black men are more at risk of getting prostate cancer, however, it is treatable if diagnosed early.
Well done, to all those on the Driver Require team involved, and the monies they raised for a very worthwhile charity!
