We’re proud to be sponsoring Hertfordshire’s New Businesses of the Year Award 2018

Following our double success at last year’s event where we walked away with both The Business Growth Award and Medium Business of the Year Award, we are delighted to be supporting Hertfordshire’s New Business of the Year Award 2018.

At Driver Require, we believe that one of the most important aspects of establishing a successful new business is being able to define and execute a sound business strategy which is aligned to your vision and values. We also believe it’s imperative that new businesses are prepared for and are responsive to change, that they are able to make provision for financial setbacks and adapt to market uncertainties.

We ourselves, have been on a remarkable journey, going from a thriving business to complete financial crisis when the recession hit. This was a defining moment in our history and we took tough decisions to stay in business, despite formidable debt repayment plans, and work our way out of the recession. But we survived, emerging stronger with our values and principles intact and retaining loyal, core customers and drivers. The company has since gone from strength to strength, growing year on year.

With this in mind, we are delighted and proud to sponsor the New Business of the Year Award category which requires entrants to demonstrate how their business plan is workable and how adaptable it is to change, how it can be altered if situations arise that warrant change. Candidates also need to demonstrate what success has been achieved against the business plan, how promotions have been planned and executed and how innovation through new products, services or systems show innovation in management.

We were absolutely delighted to have received two awards last year and we fully believe that this success has raised our profile and made us more credible, particularly within the local Hertfordshire business community.
